Appalled with people on FB

I joined a group on FB to have a photo edited. I saw great edits. Then they mocked my photo and Iím appalled. Itís a photo of me holding a sign that says ďstart each day with a grateful heartĒ and they changed it to grateful fart and grateful orgasm. I canít believe it! I deleted what I could, reported it to admin and FB, and was kicked out of the group. I am appalled and worried that a photo like this of may still be on FB.

Anyone experience this or have some reassuring words?

I highly suspect this is a preteen or teen site you hooked up with.

Idk but how do I get over this? The admin is rude too when I messaged her.

People think farts are funny. I never have.

Try to shrug it off.

What’s done Is done. Next time think twice before posting your own pic on social media.

What’s admin really going to do for you? Lesson learned, move on.

Edited to add: You posted your pic-why can’t you now remove it?

Some people on social media have

real problems if you ask me. I find Twitter to be much worse, but perhaps that's because on FB you can set your accounts to prevent a great deal of the mischief and rudeness. Very sorry this happened to you, but agree that it's a good lesson for the future.

If you ask strangers to 'shop a photo, this is what will happen. It's not limited to FB.

I see so much hate that I got off FB completely. Our local news station's page brings out such hateful morons. People can "say" anything they want with no consequences.

I use Reddit and there are some communities that are just mean for the sake of being mean and it has taken me awhile to navigate. There are some with moderators that don't allow that. FB has no moderators.

Sorry that happened to you. In some of my groups people can be very snarky. I usually quit those groups.

I’m in a couple of quilting and vintage sewing machine groups. Those people are amazing!

I hope they take your photo down. If not report it directly to Facebook, especially since it is a photo of you.
