DH is watching (and recording) Hallmark movies. He used to talk about the sugar overload that I got from watching them. We got rid of our cable and just have roku. There's not a lot of stuff to watch, other than sports (which he watches a lot). But every day he watches Hallmark movies. So funny!
My dh never watches those types of things and we have watched (he started it) several Christmas feel-good movies! More to come because we really are running out of things to watch together!
How funny! Man normally watches shoot-em-up type movies but I've noticed in the past couple of weeks that he's been watching sappy Christmas movies. Is it some male Christmas thing?
We have been watching a lot of Hallmark and Lifetime Christmas movies. We have two different Hallmark channels on our cable system and Lifetime has been running their own holiday movies, as well. While some are definitely better than others, it has been something upbeat to watch during this dark time. Glad your husband is enjoying them.
Something is in the air because last night DH asked me to see what was on Lifetime and Hallmark so we could pick a movie to watch. This is not the first time he's asked to check out those channels as we are scrolling through the guide looking for something to watch. It has definitely been an unusually weird year...
My brother-in-law likes the violent movies, but he has been watching Hallmark Christmas movies with my sister in the evenings. They sit and predict what will happen in the movie. It is their thing. I think it is escapism from what is happening in the the world.
Very funny video! Perhaps I'll suggest a Christmas movie to Man and see what he says. Normally, he would scoff at anything remotely cheesy or sappy but it seems that Christmas brings out his inner cheeseball.
My DH has always loved those movies and this year is no different with him watching them over and over. I on the other hand have never enjoyed watching them.
