1. I always had dogs. I love dogs. My dear neighbor knows Iím not a cat person, but she was desperate for someone to care for her very shy rescue cat for a few days. I love my neighbors, so of course I said yes. Iím pretending to be an adult and feeding/scooping 2x a day. Perhaps Lovely knows Iím indifferent, because now she emerges (from somewhere?) to talk to me and be petted.

2. I just returned from caring for Lovely. I entered my place, stumbled as I tried to kick off my shoes, and fell hard. On my tile entry. Hard.

Now Iím feeling sorry for myself. Thanks for listening.

I am sorry. I hope you put ice on your boo boos. Take an epsom salt bath tonight. It will help with the soreness. Take care.

There once was a lady so kind

Who took in a kitty find
That it was so worth the fall

But the kitty will bawl

And amiga will soon be enshrined.

My best wishes amiga13 for a speedy recovery from your fall. It was so kind of you to help the kitties out. Feel better soon.

That sounds painful and you're entitled to feel sorry for yourself. I hope you're not bruised.

ETA: I know you're not a cat person, and that's perfectly OK, but did you know that some people believe that cat purring can help to heal injuries? I don't know if I believe that but I know for sure that some cats think it's their responsibility to purr over an injury.

That is not good karma!! You are doing a nice thing. Did you hit your head? Ice all sore spots. Take 2 M&Ms and call it a day.

Honestly, you are a true friend to do this. I am sooooo not a cat fan. Kittens are cute, but thatís my limit.

Please take care of yourself.

Please take care of yourself and rest up after your fall. Maybe spend some time with cute little Ava.

I am so sorry and hope you feel better soon. Lovely is probably thinking lovely, loving thoughts of you right now. As someone said, cat purring vibrations are supposed to be healing. But probably some Tylenol might be needed for a day or two. You are a good person to help out a neighbor.
