Fancy Nancy Theme

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I'm doing a Fancy Nancy theme this year in my room. I'm using black and white zebra print with hot pink. I was planning to do a vocabulary word wall of "Fancy " words. I'm looking for any ideas anybody might have for decorations and/or activities. I'm going blank...I think it's being home with my 3 kids this summer!!!!!

I am excited to see what kind of response you get. I love Fancy Nancy---What do you think the boys will say?

I would maybe gets some feather boas, fancy pens--I am drawing a blank!

Last year I got some bead type garland at Hobby Lobby to hang from the ceiling over my guided reading area. I got purple, teal and lime green. They had all the Christmas stuff out already. Something like that would be cute.

For the boys you could come up with some name like Dapper Dudes... just a thought

It sounds cute, I would try to think of something for the boys to go with it.

Cute ideas! I had it up last year too and the boys never said anything about it so I guess it worked okay. The Dapper Dan idea is cute and I could easily add that. Thanks for the great ideas!

Shower Curtains

I saw the cutest Black and White zebra print shower curtains at Target. You could use it behind your fancy words. Love Fancy Nancy! How about a Fancy Nancy Pajama Party on a special day. I've often thought I should do the boy version... Blank Frank, about a boy who goes blank when he comes to words he doesn't know....Have fun!

My daughter just had a Fancy Nancy themed b-day. Target has lots of Fancy Nancy stuff! I was looking at their website the other day and they added a lot of new things. Also, JoAnn Fabric now carries Fancy Nancy fabric. It is sooo cute!
