I love, love, love nuts, but I need to cut down on them. What other snack-y foods have crunch? I need some ideas before I go grocery shopping. Thanks!

I have trouble eating fresh fruit before it goes bad. I like the Bare Snacks because they are only the baked fruit, nothing added. Unless of course you buy the flavored varieties:

Shelby, how long do these last, and do you have to reheat them? I subscribe to the Once Upon a Chef newsletter, and this week she linked to her recipe for roasted garbanzo beans. It looked great, until she said you should reheat them in the oven to crisp them back up. Well, that isn't going to fly on a school day. What's your experience?

I don't have any ideas, but I am right there with you! I have gone nut crazy this summer. They are good, but too much of a good thing. I think I actually am craving the saltiness (and crunch).

I gave up tortilla chips in an attempt to eat healthier, but ended up eating way too many nuts.

IDK, maybe popcorn?

I've never had to reheat them. They are eaten so quickly they not around for long! Maybe I should roast 2 cans instead of one.

I like Harvest Snaps brand veggie crisps.

I like the tomatio basil and original flavors. They curb my VERY strong urges for potato chips.
