Am I the only one losing interest in Wordle?
Iím sick to death of self-centered whiners.

What are you reluctant to voice?

I enjoy Wordle and most of the puzzles. I'm not interested in everyone's scores-I skip those posts.

Great truth in this old Calvin and Hobbes cartoon.

Spring break is too far away!

It has been such a different and challenging year.

Why can't people just allow others to enjoy something ? Times are tough for many of us and joy in the little things is so critical.

This is a very tiny whisper….sometimes I feel like an awful parent and here is proof:
  1. I recently saw my adult dd, whom I haven’t seen in about 6 months. She was complaining about the food where she is living (Midwest, who doesn’t like midwestern food?), and I almost said, “it doesn’t look like you are having problems with the food”. WTF would I even THINK that? Even worse was how close it was to slipping out of my mouth….
  2. I was relieved when she chose to stay with her in laws (she is not easy to live with)
  3. She really is NOT easy to live with. Is it a result of bad parenting?
  4. My youngest just got his drivers license and has been driving himself to school. He asked me this morning if I knew why he parked behind me. I told him it was because he is so thoughtful not to make his brother or dad move their cars in the morning. WRONG! He said it was so I have to wake him up for school and I don’t forget about him, and just go to work. I only ever forgot him once, and that was because I thought he was still doing online school. I guess it scarred him for life.

Whispers from an Open Book

It's a very sad state of affairs when a 50-something woman finds solace in hugging stuffed gnomes and lovingly cradling them in the middle of the store.
Feeling so NOT cared about. Dealing with constant stress coupled with constant guilt because Autism is a stressor. This is my son's current state: He wears threadbare tee shirt and shorts all day and carries around pieces of these rags. If he loses a piece, he totally loses it and attacks us.
Wish my principal could trade places with me for an hour.
That's all it would take and he'd be running for the hills.
How hard is it for an administrator to ask "How are you today?"
