a lil update dh and dd

So today dh went to urologist and he took out the catheter. The problem when he did it the last 2 times was that he couldn't pee, he was retaining urine. We wound up at ER both times. So, so far so good. Praying that he is able to go through the night (the night time was the problem) and not retain urine other wise we'll be at ER again.
As for DD, she came home yesterday after meltdown and full blown anxiety. She is okay for now. We went to neurologist (headaches, dizziness, losing sight for a few seconds) He said she has POTS. He explained it and then I came home and looked it up. She seemed to check all the boxes for that so she is supposed to take vit D, drink lots of water, add salt to diet, get off the computer each hour for a few min, and exercise. As for the anxiety, who knows...hopefully the lexapro will kick in and help her. She seems okay now while she's here.
Praying we get thru the night tonight

Well, it looks like things are looking up. My friend started in Lexapro when her DH fiend unexpectedly about 5 years ago. Itís helped her tremendously.

I hope all settles down and resolves for you and your family. DH had the same issue and it is so painful and frustrating.

You've had quite a load to carry on behalf of your husband and daughter. It's always so hard to have to see our loved ones in pain. I hope you can report to us that you had an uneventful night for your husband and that your daughter finally is finding her way through the pain and suffering she's been experiencing. (I'm curious, what does POTS stands for?)

Glad you're getting some answers for your DD. Let's hope they both have an uneventful night. I just read up on PoTS so hopefully the "easy" fixes will make her feel better.

Here's to an uneventful night for you too
