So I made this for breakfast today, and I fried the eggs over hard. I watched a few videos because I've never had fried eggs. This was delicious. What I learned is that I will never eat that slimy yellow stuff. Just watching it cook I knew there was no way I could stomach it. So yeah, I think now I'm a fried egg fan.

That picture looked good. It is always great to find a food you like.

Woohoo! I am one of those "fry it over hard" suggesters/eaters, and I'm with you

I'm so with you! Fried over hard is best!

I used to eat my eggs over easy to over medium...cooked white, but runny yolk, but as I got older, the idea of eating the runny yolk made my stomach turn.

How funny--I'm exactly the opposite. I used to eat eggs only hard boiled, graduated to fried eggs--broken and over hard. As I've grown older, I've almost completely embraced runny yolks (but not sunny side up because then the yolk stares at you in a mocking way.)

I'm terribly proud of myself because tonight, for the first time ever, I cooked an egg over easy and put it on top of kale and arugula along with some bacon and croutons to make the most amazing Salade Lyonnaise. The yolk mixed beautifully with the lemon vinaigrette and disappeared into the salad to make the most beautiful rich sauce. Not slimy at all.

I can only eat hard fried eggs too. I think they taste better, and they're easier to roll up in a piece of bread and eat out of hand.

It's interesting how our tastes change as we get older.

Looks yummy! I'm an over medium person. I don't want them flat out runny, but like a little ooze.
