Watch them both several times during the holiday season

A Christmas Story
Home Alone/Home Alone 2
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

I also like the old cartoon Frosty the Snowman and the old Rudolph one with the island of misfit toys. The Santa Clause movies are ones I will also watch year to year.

Two
Old 12-03-2014, 07:18 PM

These two have been on rotation every day in my house since I was in jr high: Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation.

Our family has "quote offs" because we know every part of these movies. It's just a tradition to have them on in the background/watch them.

We were cooking thanksgiving dinner and my mom had her hands full. I asked her to grab me a plate. She quoted "if you're not doing anything, get me my stogy!"

We are a weird bunch.

ETA: newest favorites are Elf and Home Alone. These two will be entered into the rotation.

I can't choose just one either!

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
A Christmas Story
Cartoon version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas
It's a Wonderful Life

Guess I'll have to watch Elf since so many have mentioned it. I'll probably introduce the GS to Home Alone this year too.

Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol was on TV two Christmases ago when it was restored. It was one of my mom's favorite and I love it too. I also love Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas.
