How many times a month? How many people and about how long do they spend cleaning? Do they bring their own supplies or you supply them?

We pay a crew $130/week for a total of 4 weeks a month. They are here about 90 minutes. I think the crew is usually 3 people. We provide supplies. They have a key and let themselves in.

Before them we had a single person do it. I think she charged $80 per week. She too had a key and she was in here longer.

We did a local cleaning crew a time or two. They did a great job. Were around $100 per session. Big crew and did it really fast. But we had to be there when they cleaned.

I feel very fortunate. We’ve had a cleaning person off and on, mostly when we were still teaching and the kids were still living at home. I’m pretty picky who is in my house when I’m not there, so when one cleaner would go to greener pastures, I’d go without until finding someone else.

Then I retired and decided I didn’t WANT to clean. DH didn’t either, so we put our ears to the ground and found a great gal. 3 hours twice a month, $15/ hour. And since we’re at our summer cabin, she is taking the time she would normally spend cleaning the house and is doing some deep cleaning. We know her and trust her.

We supply the cleaning supplies.

I do it myself.
My DD pays $250 every two weeks for 3 women that clean. She supplies everything they need. They do a wonderful job! My DD works from home so she is there when they come. Only one speaks some English, the other two speak Polish. Iíve been there a few times. The one that speaks English has learned so much in just a few years. I donít think I could learn a new language that fast. I canít believe how hard they work! Idk if I could find someone that good here. My DD paid them when they couldnít work during Covid due to restrictions. I know they were very grateful. Many people did not and this is in a very wealth area. My DDís house is more than twice as big as mine. Iíd never be able to keep up with it myself.

Team of 2, every other week.
60-75 minutes (they’re very fast and thorough), $144 per visit.
They bring all supplies and smiles.
I welcome them, leave, and come home to sparkle and shine.

I am very blessed in that I have known my house keeper for many years. I was her children's teacher. I love the whole family. She has a key. She comes every week, $120, which was more than she wanted, but I appreciate her so much.

I live alone so she does a deep clean every month for $100. She is usually here about 2.5 to 3 hours. I tip $20 so it ends up $120. Which is so worth it. When she's not here I keep the counters clean, the sinks clean, and vacuum once a week because of my allergies. Otherwise I do no cleaning.

$80 every other week (although I can go 4-5 weeks if Iím inclined to do so). Itís a crew of 3-4 people and they bring all their own supplies. It takes them about 45 minutes.

We have someone come once a month and we pay $200. It's a team of 2-3 and they stay for about three hours. Our house is a little over 3K square feet, so it takes a bit. We do basic cleaning in between visits just so it doesn't get too nasty.

I pay $169 every other week for a team of two. Love them. I leave some supplies because I didnít care for a few things they generally used. Takes about an hour and a half, just under two.

House cleaners pay

I provide the cleaning supplies and they use my vacuum. A team of three comes every two to three weeks, and it takes them about 70-75 minutes to clean my small house which is just under 1350 square feet. The entire house has tile floors, which means they have to vacuum and then mop everything, unlike with carpet. They dust and scrub everything and leave my kitchen and two bathrooms sparkling. They are well organized, fast and thorough. I pay $80 per visit. It’s just me and my dog and cat so I think that was factored into the price.

They come and remain masked. I turn the AC to continuous air and a colder temperature which they appreciate. My pets and I stay in the air conditioned garage where we relax in relative comfort, and I read until they’re done. .

We pay $75 once monthly. That's all I need now that we're retired. She only does the downstairs rooms and vacs upstairs and the upstairs bathroom-no bedrooms. She uses our cleaning supplies.

I think that how much square footage they are cleaning plays in to price.

My best friendís house is a little over 3,700 square feet and she only pays $120 every other week which is a steal for the size of the house and the area where we live.

Itís a small business, three people come and she provides all supplies. They will let her know when she is starting to run out of specific supplies. Theyíre normally there for at least 2-3 hours and do a wonderful job.

How many times a month? Every other week.

How many people and about how long do they spend cleaning? One person--3-4 hours

Do they bring their own supplies or you supply them? A little of both

Cost? $80 every other week.

Our house is approximately 2400 square feet (About 400 feet of that is unfinished space in basement that she doesn't have to clean)

We started having our house cleaned in August 2020 when COVID was rampant and my teaching job was overwhelming me. Best decision. Took a lot of stress off of me.

We pay $85. One woman and she is here for 2.75 hours. She does master bedroom and bath, guest bath and half bath, living room, family room, kitchen and dining room, plus laundry room.

We provide all supplies. She even gets a cup of DH's home roasted coffee. (this week she came in with her keys, mask, and a small container of milk. I guess DH needs to put more cream in her coffee)

When we are out of town (precovid) we usually pay her for the missed time. She gets a month's extra pay at Christmas.

The last time I had a quote down it was $350 every 2 weeks. Who the heck can afford that?

I have a couple people coming in to give me info. I don't need the whole house cleaned (it is a big house but 2 people don't use much...) so we will see.

We had a custodian who cleaned the house a few times for me. She was amazing and I didn't mind paying her. However, at the time I couldn't do it regularly because I still had kids at home. My dd's first year of college she earned extra money for cleaning the house- really just bathrooms and floors- which was worth it to me completely. I wish she still needed money!

This is exactly what I pay, including the tip. I supply everything. When she first started with me 7 years ago, she asked for $75, but I have increased it since then. On special occasions (her birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas) I give her a bigger tip or a gift certificate to a grocery store.

$150. a week and they come every other week.

It's a husband/wife team and we're friends with them so they let themselves in/out without us here. I'm not sure how long it takes them, but I think 3-4 hours based on our door camera.

They bring their own supplies.

So my one quote yesterday was for $240 every two weeks. $500 month! I don't know if I can mentally swing that. She does have a good reputaton (and is insured and bonded), but jeesh! That isn't even for the entire house. Just the main areas. I don't live in a mansion.
