I thought we could post some of our favorite songs to unite us a community. Nothing political...just some sweet tunes to make us hum, whistle, or to put a swing in our step.
I will go first...
What A Wonderful World

- lots of great interpretations from all styles (580 versions on Secondhand songs)
Michael Buble
Nat King Cole, Natalie Cole
Michael Jackson
Harry Connick, Jr.
Lady Gaga

Since it's in the category of American Standards, you can find it in almost any style.

For a sentimental one which describes who our healthcare workers are for us during these times Hero by Mariah Carey.

Uptown Funk is always a fun one for that Upbeat feeling. I also like a song called Cake by the Ocean by DNCE Jo Jonas’s band.

Bohemian Rhapsody is also a favorite though I don’t know if the message would be upbeat enough for this list.

Great idea!
What about Lukas Graham : Share that love?

And my favorite: This little light of mine, by Springsteen, the Dublin concert version!

"Walkin' on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves
"Steal My Sunshine" by LEN

also....not exactly a song...but compilation--i had forgotten about it, and it popped up on my youtube suggestions:

"Stars on 45" mashup of tons of fun, "old" songs
i've been enjoying grading, planning, doing housework, etc. while listening to a variety of these...
