I tried to come up with a better topic statement, but that’s the best I could do. I almost titled it “Headlights on for Safety.”

I wear a padded bra but they still show through...think cold room kind of show. I’ve tried t-shirt bras, but one boob is bigger than the other, so they fit me weird.

Fortunately, I noticed this quite some time ago, so embarrassment level has been pretty low. I usually shove a crap load of toilet paper over my nipples when I wear a clingy shirt. It feels like I’m stuffing my bra.

The toilet paper shifts and just gets bunchy. I generally just steer clear of shirts where it would be an issue, but we got some dry weave type polo shirts. I wear a tank under because they’re kind of sheer, and it still happens.

Do the petal pasty things work? Any other suggestions?

You could look at the fabric store for an insert. It would be better than tp.

Rather than a t-shirt bra, can you look for one with more padding?

I second the nursing pads. There’s washable reusable ones, which is what I have and use for the very issue you are looking to fix. It works really well. Just place inside the bra, and it stays in place; never had it fall out. Lasts forever, too—my kids are young adults and I bought them when they were infants! Lol.

I wear the silicone nipple covers almost daily. They have a light adhesive. They aren’t perfect but they help a ton! All sorts on Amazon and I’ve gotten them in the bra section at Walmart.

I have worn nipple covers for years. I use silicon covers called bezi bra disks. No adhesive. Wash them with gentle soap and water and they last forever.

Oh, do empathize with this. I have used the round ones that they sell at WalMart and they worked ok.

The ones I use now I bought on Amazon. Search Amazon for
DIMRS DIMRS Self Adhesive Nipple. They are oval and look like the ones posted by another poster. They are very pricy but they work. I have two pairs and I have used them for years.

Back in the day when I used to go braless (maybe before you were born ), I used to use the square bandaids. They used to work really well.

It's been a really hot summer here, and I have started going braless again. Fortunately, being small, I don't have much sagging or jiggling, so it doesn't look too bad...except for "the nips", as my dd says. I was thinking of looking for a box of the square bandaids again, but decided to order some of the silicone adhesive pasties based on recommendations here. They are arriving tomorrow with Amazon Prime. I am happy that now I will be able to wear even my softer tank tops without having to sweat under my bra band.

I bought bras with "petals" inserted in the bra. No worries now! I think they are Hanes with concealing petals.

I like them because they don't add any size and they really do the job, even with an unpadded bra. You'd think they might be visible, but they aren't. (ETA: I see these have already been recommended.)

I've also used a variety of the adhesive silicone nipple covers but they don't always provide as good of coverage.

It's a genuine problem for teachers. I used to teach at the high school level and, even if you're old enough to be their mother, high school boys can't concentrate if you're "pointing" at them.
