New Tree for Tom & Me

My son has severe autism and he is non-verbal.
Tom, loved doing the Advent calendar/ Tree so much.
(Ann Voskamp; Unwrapping the Greatest Gift)
He waited next to the tree for me to get home from work.
Decided to do a year-round Christian Tree.
Found a little wooden tree that looks like the Tree of Life at the craft store. It stands up.
Put cross and heart stickers on tiny hang tags.
Found these easy-to-understand Bible stories that we can read online or print out. https://www.lambsongs.co.nz/bible%20story%20books.htm
Each day, Tom and I will share a story and then Tom will put a tag on the tree.
Hoping this will bring us comfort and peace.

What a great plan! It looks like each story has activities that go with it. If Tom really gets into a certain story, maybe you can do one of the activities.

Wishing you comfort and peace, Persephone.

What a innovative way to take a successful idea and carry on with something just as interesting. You're so creative, Persephone! Your son is lucky to have you as a mom!

I love your idea! I would love a picture of your tree, or a link to a similar one.

All the best to you in 2021!!
