What are you looking forward to this week? What are you not looking forward to?

Looking Forward to:

Seeing my class again
Reading my book
Making sure I have some time for myself each day this week
Going to my parents for the weekend
The weekend!
Some of the lessons/things I have planned for the week
Watching live streams of high school basketballs game (at least we have access to them!)

Not Looking Forward to:
-Grading papers and getting things ready for the week
-Getting up early and having to go bed early
-Cooking dinner each night after work and cleaning up
-Not being able to see high school basketball games in person (I'm glad we can at least watch a live stream, but in person is so much better!)
-It's supposed to be cloudy/grey all week.
-Dealing with post holiday depression

Looking Forward to:
One more week of vacation
Want to clean up my desk area
Sleep in
Using some of my Starbucks gift cards

Not Looking Forward to:
Bringing my monitor into Best Buy to get fixed
Organizing the multitude of electric cords in my work space
School starting
Motivating myself to get things done each day
Forcing myself to shower everyday (sign of my depression)
Finishing up the laundry that has been piling up the last month

One more week of vacation

One more week of vacation? I'm jealous!

seeing my students again
making sure I have some time for myself each day this week
trying out my new planner
getting out of the house

Not Looking Forward to:
getting up early and having to go bed early
it's supposed to be cloudy/grey all week
getting back into a work routine
my dog's pitiful face when I leave for work each morning after 2 weeks off

I'm super lame these days. I'm actually looking forward to going back to work and having a routine and purpose, and people to talk to! I was alone all break and while I did a decent job filling up my time, I've had enough of it. I'm also looking forward to a Trader Joe's trip this week as that's one of my only sources of entertainment left .

I'm not looking forward to getting up early again!

Looking Forward to:

Seeing my sweet students again; I really miss those little faces!
Seeing my colleagues; the other teachers in my hallway are my lifeline
Being busy all day; I don't like the emptiness of being a SPEN (Single Parent, Empty Nester)
Piano lessons starting up again; I enjoy them, and I love the extra money!


Not Looking Forward to:

Going to bed early, getting up early.
All of the Covid precautions --- the masks, the cleaning, the remote learning
Possibly being exposed to Covid every day

We don’t get a Fall Break like some schools do. But yes, 3 weeks of vacay is grand! I do miss the structure, though.

--ALOT less traffic in my neck of the woods
--getting my pay check
--starting my reading institute program
--visiting my mom(through the window)in assisted living after isolation
--possibly having the house to myself


Not Looking Forward to
--pulmonary appointment
--moms eye procedure
--stepping on the scale
--putting all the decorations away and organizing Christmas stuff.

*Our granddog being picked up tonight or tomorrow - sweet dog, but a shedder

*Not being able to ride my bike because its too cold
*Having to ride the elliptical at the gym for the above reason
*Going back to work
*Getting up early

I am not looking forward to getting up and out of the house. I managed to sleep in until after 9am almost every day of break. Getting up is going to hurt.
