Everyone knows we are dog people at our house, but we are now collecting cats.

DH sent me a picture of the bottom kitty dozing on one of the chairs on our side porch. A couple of days later I went home to get some things, and I sent him a picture of the cat as well. Then I noticed that they are two different cats. There is also a solid gray one that I see on our security camera at night sometimes.

A post to FB has established that the black & white kitty is Millard, and he lives on the street across from us. He was just catching a quick nap.

I did not take this, but thought it was beautiful. It was on our local news. Someone else is a great photographer.

I love cardinals! We have 7 nesting pairs at our house. We love watching them, especially in the snow. Color pops so well.

Freezing fog every night means I've been waking up to world that looks like this every morning.

ETA: Great cardinal photo. I love cardinals and have about 8 of them living in or near my back yard but I've had no luck getting a good photo of them.

The photos of the winter snow, frost and ice are amazing! Especially, the way the photos catch the areas in the daylight! Those cardinals are beautiful. Winter and nature combine to give us such pretty scenes!

Granddaughter learned to pedal her tricycle this week. My daughter has fond memories of enjoying her radio flyer as a toddler so we found a used one on Craigslist and made it "fancy" with a basket and a new bell

I LOVE being back in person with my students, and my heart just soars every time we get to do an art project. Today was one of my favorite "no fail" projects - winter silhouettes with shapes.
