Clip to ScrapBook #1

I am doing a Hollywood theme this year and want to have my read alouds tie into it. I've come up with picture book: If You Take A Mouse to the Movies. Two chapter books start off with characters in movie theatre: Great Cheese Conspiracy and Bunnicula. Does anyone else have any other ideas? I'm looking for books for third or fourth grade kids.

How about books written by celebrities? I think Jamie Lee Curtis has really good picture books out there.

books that have been made into movies?

You could use Holes, Because of Winn Dixie, Diary of Wimpy Kid, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, etc.

If possible, you could even show excerpts from the movie and have the students compare/ contrast the book/movie.
