Hello from Pennsylvania!
I've been considering getting my phys ed. cert. to eventually teach gym in our building when it becomes available.

Is this as simple as taking a Praxis test?? I currently teach kindergarten, so I have my level 2 cert in elementary ed and I have my Masters in Education Development and Strategies.

Any ideas how this works?

I wish I had an answer. Did you find oun anything? I am in Indiana. I have taught 4,5,6 for 19 years, but the increased time demands making me look for something different. I still want to teach (don't feel like I have any other choice but to teach another 13 years) but am looking for something a little less time-intensive. We have a PE teacher retiring at Christmas, and I am really thinking about applying for it.
