Clip to ScrapBook #1

Years ago I saw a device that could hold a single audio book for an individual listening centre.
Is the iPod Shuffle the only option? I'd like to order a few that kids can sign out and return.
Does anyone know of any devices that would fit this bill?

The library board doesn't get much business, so unless it's a library-specific question, you might want to post on the Busy Board. Also, many of us don't much work-related stuff during our summer months. heck, I'm only on here bc I'm doing summer school.

Answer to your question...the Playaway is what I'm most familiar with. Our public libraries have them. It's not in my school library budget, but the kids have so much online read aloud access it hasn't been much of a concern.
