Library Furniture

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I am looking to replace my twenty year old tables and chairs for the Library Media Center. I am a K-5 school. So my issue is trying to find something that fits K-1 children and also can accommodate very large fifth graders. We have some fifth graders that are basically large adults.

I am wondering what furniture you have ordered or have currently, and where you shopped for your furniture.

Pictures welcome.

Thank you!

Smith Systems (I ordered through Demco) has really nice furniture for reasonable prices. My school is grades 1-4 and I ordered 16" chairs that work great for everyone. The quality is great and they have lots of colors to choose from.

This is exactly what have been looking at.

Smith System Flavors Stack Chairs

for thirty they are over $3000 with shipping though.

I was looking at the 18 inch. What I have now are 17 inch and they are too small for adults during meetings which take place in the library, and the also too small for the majority of our fifth graders.

Thank you for your feedback, I am glad you are pleased with them.
