Since youíve retired, do you spend more or less time here at PT?

I spend less time, way less.

It all depends. Sometimes I am on it more, and sometimes I am not on it for weeks. After I retired I stopped reading and posting on PT.

The boards I visit are slightly different. I rarely go to the Busy Board or my grade level board.

I spend less time because Iím so busy doing other things. It is amazing how much there is to do when you have the time.

A year or two before I retired I would read some posts occasionally. A couple of months before I retired I joined and started posting. I enjoy reading all the helpful comments about retirement, traveling, books, tv shows, etc. I also enjoy hearing about every day stuff. I wished I would have joined sooner!

Probably about the same, but different boards. I used to frequent Busy, grade level, and a specific teaching board. I donít ever even open those now. I love the Lounge and Retired, and occasionally read Senior and Vent. I usually check first thing in the morning and when Iím watching TV at night.

I really like PT and am grateful for all the tidbits Iíve learned. I especially like recommendations for TV, books, decorating, and foods. I love Friday Photos, surveys, and Three Word Thursday (started by our lovely GlacierRose). I also appreciate how kind and friendly most posters are. Iíve met several PTers irl and am always surprised by how much I like them.

Much less. There are some boards that just don't hold my interest anymore. I also don't need as much guidance as I did when teaching and getting ready for retirement, so I now do more reading, but I don't always comment. I'm not one to share a lot, but, I do know that PTers are here for me if I do need help.

I spend a lot less time on PT than when I was teaching. I enjoy Teacher's Lounge, Retired teachers, and occasionally the Senior Board. I enjoy checking in to these boards every few day and find everyone to be quite helpful in their responses to questions posted on the boards.
