Good evening to all-
Well, Hurricane Dorian is cooking and working over Puerto Rico right now. After that, who knows where?

So we're making plans to go down to the fish camp and button things up and tow the RV back home if it looks like the storm is coming this way. of course, there's always the chance we'll evacuate right into the path of the storm- that's one of the many problems surrounding living in hurricane country- you never know where the big storms are going until they go there.

Good night to all- Ed

Stay safe.

My father-in-law lives in PR. Time for me to brush up my Spanish and get ready to text him to be sure he’s all right. Trouble is, there will likely be no electricity or cell service for a week or more, so I just have to rely on his “island living smarts”. He’s in the mountains and has lived there his whole life, so I’m reasonably sure he will manage.

"Button things up" is exactly what I do at my mountain cabin before the serious winter weather arrives.
Hurricanes sound very scary to me. I hope both you and Puerto Rico avoid the worst of Dorian. Stay safe!

My brother lives in Fort Lauderdale, so I have been watching the hurricane news. We are headed to coastal Georgia in a couple of weeks, so I am hoping that area remains undamaged.

The south is a beautiful place to live and visit, but it has its challenges, especially during hurricane season. Good luck with everything. I hope it misses your area.

Eek...Florida. Here we go again. Hoping none of these storms make it to New England! I do not want to get boat out of slip until October please...

Looks like PR dodged the bullet for once.

Keep safe, all you Southerners!
