Clip to ScrapBook #1

Good afternoon to all-
We've had to clean up around our house- on the "recommendations" of our storm insurance carrier.
A big pain, lots of work, but...
I now have a truckload of apple and guava wood for smoking use. I grilled/smoked a shoulder this morning using guava wood. I've never used guava wood before. Delicious. there's not a whole lot of the smoked shoulder left, but what is left will become sandwiches for supper.

So even though the work was unpleasant, the smoking wood is going to be very nice.

Just got to look for the good in the bad.

good evening to all- Ed

are becoming a thing. We were told to replace our roof or lose our insurance last year.

I think having some great smoking wood would be a fine side benefit of cutting trees. The food will help restore some of the sore muscles.
