Starting the year remotely...ideas for materials

Clip to ScrapBook #1

My district was planning on starting 100% next month, but has just decided to start remotely until September, and then go 100% (we'll see).

Last spring, I used the free resources from Scholastic which were amazing! Does anyone know of materials like this for the fall? What materials/sites are you planning to use? I teach 2nd grade.

This is going to be a challenge. Thank you for your ideas and suggestions!

I used time for kids as well - I am pretty sure it is still free - I am still receiving free digital copies right now.

Prodigy is a math program thatís free. You can assign specific CC tasks and get feedback from the program. The kids love it. I will tell you it is a bit video-game type in between math questions but it is very engaging.

Get Epic is a free online reading company. Tons of great books and you can assign them. Some of my kids had trouble getting on, but Iím not sure why.

I used Google Slides a lot.
