I like planbook.com. You can put in your own schedule and color code each group. Typing the plans is much easier/faster for me. I tried a paper planner and got frustrated with the boxes sometimes being too small and the fact that it was "ruined" if I had to go back and make changes. On the computer, if something unexpected happens and I don't see a group that day, or there's a snow day, whatever- I can just bump all of my lessons forward 1 day.

This year I got in the habit of printing my plans out for each day so I could look at them quickly as needed when I was teaching. I do a ton of phonics work, so I often had prepared word lists or sentences for dictation that I needed to look at.
