Miss subbing already - it has only been two weeks.
Thinking about contacting the census bureau for temp work. Want to keep busy, and summr paychecks would be nice, too.
Have any of you done this? Advice?

Subs too need a break. I got a job at a golf club. Works out because they only needed workers until the beginning of October. If you like being outside, I would try this

Tomorrow I'm going to start as a courier for a local business. This gets me out of the house and into the sun, gives me purpose and a little income but should be less stressful than subbing. I'm only planning to do this part-time so I can still rest and relax.

Enjoy your part time summer gig. It is nice to change things up and try something new. I hope you enjoy it.

The Census Bureau sounds like a good idea, but I dont know if they are hiring until 2020. I wouldnt mind taking phone calls and working in the office, but I wouldnt want to go door to door asking people to fill out the form.
