We have implemented RTI for reading at our school and will be adding math soon. We have several ways we can bring data to RTI meetings--running records, DRA's, Literacy First, STAR, etc. STAR is the only data we have available for math. What do you guys use for documentation in math for RTI? Thanks so much!

My district uses AVMR (Advantage Math Recovery). Students are pretested at the beginning of the eight to twelve week session, and post-tested at the end. We have a district person certified in Math Recovery, and she has trained each of her math interventionists in the first and second classes of Math Recovery.

Students are placed in RtI tier 2 if their MAPS scores are 24th percentile or lower and if they are doing poorly on Bridges classroom assessments.

If students do not improve after several session of tier 2 Math Recovery, they move to tier 3 and eventually are tested for special ed.
