Hello everyone!

Will you list your top three suggestions on book titles for our teacher book study?

I really want to have our teachers read books that will help our students and their teachers!!!

!. The Book Whisperer. Made a huge difference to me when I taught 4th grade.

2. Why Gender Matters. An interesting book written about gender differences and how we can transcend gender biases.

Neither of these are new titles, but both were very interesting.

It's not a new book, but it's the best teacher book I've ever read. It's "Classroom Confidential" by Laurel Schmidt.

1. Grit - Angela Ducksworth
2. Teach like a pirate - Dave Burgess
3. Enhancing Professional Practice - Danielson Framework (I know this sounds odd but for a book study .. I have used it before with my team and it's good because you can really dive into one or two specific domains and look at the critical attributes and really discuss/learn.)
