1. What streaming services do you have?

We have Netflix, CBS All Access, Amazon Prime, (Hulu, Disney + and ESPN +) <--- in a bundle.

2. Do you still have cable?

We do. Although, I am considering getting rid of it. I do like live TV for the news and watching it sometimes but I'd like to cut the expense.

3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most?

I go back and forth between watching Hulu and Netflix the most.

4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)?

For our streaming services ... $31 plus the one time Prime Fee.. I think I paid $59 for prime.

My DH wanted CBS All Access so he could watch Star Trek - Picard.

For cable I want to say we pay $120.00 a month (I could be wrong). It's cable and internet.

5. If you have cable are you considering getting rid of it? Why do you keep it?

Yes, I am thinking about getting rid of it. It's too expensive. We keep it because it's a package deal with our internet and because we do watch some live TV.

6. Do you have Disney + ? Do you or your kids watch anything specific on Disney +?

I just changed our Hulu for $1 more to a bundle with Disney + and ESPN + this morning. So far we just have watched Mickey Mouse Club House with James. I am going to watch the Elephant and Dolphin (I think?) documentaries.

When I think about all the streaming services we have.. it makes me think we need to cut cable. What gets you hooked is if you want to watch a specific show and then it's on one of the services (like Picard and CBS). We will probably get rid of cable soon.

1. What streaming services do you have? I have Netflix, Hulu, and Prime

2. Do you still have cable? I do now.

3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most? I use Netflix the most.

4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)? I spend 8.99 on Netflix a month and 50 a year on Hulu since I share it. I don't consider prime a tv expense because I got it for the free shipping and rarely watch anything on it. I spend 77 on cable and internet.

5. If you have cable are you considering getting rid of it? Why do you keep it? My internet is in my cable and I need the internet. I used to pay 55 and then they raised it. I love a channel called Bravo and I have to pay the extra to get it. I lived almost 2 years without it and missed it so much.

6. Do you have Disney + ? Do you or your kids watch anything specific on Disney +? No kids so no Disney.

Sprite's Message:
1. What streaming services do you have?
Amazon Prime, Hulu, Frendly.com for several Hallmark channels, locast.org for local network channels and a few others.

2. Do you still have cable?
No. We thought we were going to move over the summer and took the cable out when we first moved out of our house. We moved back in last August and got everything back in our house a couple of months ago.

3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most?
I use Amazon prime, Frendly, and locast pretty equally right now, Not Hulu as much.

4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)?
About $25 a month right now.

5. If you have cable are you considering getting rid of it? Why do you keep it?
We were considering getting Hulu live once baseball season started so we could watch games. Right now we just have the $5 version to watch things after they have been shown live. Since there has been no baseball, we are waiting until the time comes where it might start.

6. Do you have Disney + ? Do you or your kids watch anything specific on Disney +?
No. We don’t have kids. I do miss Lifetime, but might be able to get that on Hulu live later. Otherwise I have no need for Disney.

For those of you who want to get rid of cable but still want network tv, locast.org offers those channels for only $5 a month. Hulu live offers them for $45 a month.

1. What streaming services do you have?

Netflix, Hulu, DisneyPlus, Prime, Broadway HD, Spectrum (for local channels)

2. Do you still have cable?

No

3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most?

I like having Spectrum....I can stream all of the channels I used to get through cable, without the ridiculous cost. Local news, HGTV, mostly.

4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)?

DisneyPlus is free the first year through Verizon, and I won't be renewing it. Prime is a perk because I subscribe to Amazon Prime for the shopping.
Netflix is $12.99? Hulu is $8.99? Broadway HD is $8.99, and Spectrum is $30

5. If you have cable are you considering getting rid of it? Why do you keep it?

6. Do you have Disney + ? Do you or your kids watch anything specific on Disney +?

My DDs are 19 and 22........they like DisneyPlus for the nostalgia. They watch That's So Raven and other shows from their childhood. We all love Disney movies (we watched Tangled and Onward today!). And having all of the Avengers movies is a huge plus for us as well.

1. What streaming services do you have?
Netflix, Prime, Disney+

2. Do you still have cable?
Yes.

3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most?
I rotate through but probably use them all about the same.

4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)?
We have cable and internet bundled together and pay up for a few extra channels. I think thatís just under $200 plus the $10ish for Netflix. I paid $60 for Disney for the year.

5. If you have cable are you considering getting rid of it? Why do you keep it?
Iíve thought about it but I love having my live sports.

6. Do you have Disney + ? Do you or your kids watch anything specific on Disney +?
No kids, but DH and I really enjoyed The Mandalorian. I love Disney and I really enjoy watching movies that had been in the vault for years. I also enjoyed the Imagineering documentary.

Thanks for the info! Iíve been thinking about cutting cable, but am so torn.

1. What streaming services do you have?
Netflix, Hulu, Prime, and I also use a jail broken Firestick sometimes-shhh

2. Do you still have cable?
Yes

3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most?
Probably Netflix because of Friends (so sad itís gone off of it now) and The Office- Iím huge on needing the white noise of the TV in the background while Iím working around the house, and these provide me comfort lol

4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)?
About $15 for streaming, and then my Fios bundle is $130ish (internet and cable)

5. If you have cable are you considering getting rid of it? Why do you keep it?
I like to watch the news as Iím getting ready for work in the morning... and HGTV :P but Iím poor, so I need to cut it- but Iím having trouble finding internet by itself for an affordable price

6. Do you have Disney + ? Do you or your kids watch anything specific on Disney +?
Nope- kind of a Disney hater here :P

1. What streaming services do you have?
Netflix and Hulu. I tried the Amazon Prime free trial because I wanted to watch the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel after hearing everyone rave about it, and I didn't love it. There was nothing on there that was worth spending more per month for me.

2. Do you still have cable?
Nope, I got rid of it several years ago (maybe 4-5 years now?) when I took a hard look at my budget.

3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most?

Definitely Hulu.

4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)?

$15 per month. In the past I've been good about cancelling Netflix for most of the year (meaning my cost for most months would just be $6) and just catching up on everything in the summer, since I use Hulu so much more anyway. This year I ended up having things I was watching still on it, and then with our current situation I definitely feel like I need the most options!

5. If you have cable are you considering getting rid of it? Why do you keep it?
n/a

6. Do you have Disney + ? Do you or your kids watch anything specific on Disney +?
No kids, so Disney+ doesn't appeal to me. I've also personally never been someone who likes watching kids' movies.

1. What streaming services do you have?
Netflix, Hulu (no ads), Disney+, Amazon Prime
2. Do you still have cable?
No
3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most?
I probably use Netflix and Hulu equally, maybe Hulu more
4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)?
I spend around $32 a month. I use my friend’s Amazon Prime account and she uses my Disney+ since I get it cheaper with my Hulu. So, I pay for Netflix, Hulu, and Disney. My internet is $60 monthly.

I haven’t had cable for probably 8 years now and don’t regret it one bit! I was paying $150 for cable/internet plus I had Netflix so it’s significant savings.

1. What streaming services do you have?
Philo, Netflix, Prime, Disney+

2. Do you still have cable?
Nope

3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most?
I watch Netflix the most, but I have Philo on in the background while I work.

4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)?
I'm not doing the math Philo is $20 a month, I think. Netflix is maybe $15? Disney+ was around $60 for the year. Prime we pay for mostly because of shipping, so the video is just kind of an added perk.

5. If you have cable are you considering getting rid of it? Why do you keep it?
Got rid of it several months ago because it was too expensive.

6. Do you have Disney + ? Do you or your kids watch anything specific on Disney +?
We have been enjoying watching some of the old movies on family movie nights. The kids are rewatching a bunch of the Disney Channel shows like Austin and Ally

1. What streaming services do you have? Netflix

2. Do you still have cable? No, I use an indoor flat style antenna on each TV which gives me all the local channels plus many "rerun" channels. Plus my Samsung smart TV also provides several free streaming channels.

3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most? I'm considering doing Amazon Prime

4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)?

I pay $54.99/mo for FIOS (internet plus ability to stream Netflix and all the Samsung freebies) + $8.99/mo for Netflix on one TV.

5. If you have cable are you considering getting rid of it? Why do you keep it?

Got rid of it 3 years ago.

6. Do you have Disney + ? Do you or your kids watch anything specific on Disney +? No

1. Prime, Netflix, Disney+

5. I always go back and forth, but I will keep it. I love sports in the fall and I like to watch current shows.

6. Yes! Movies and shows that they watch on tv, but whenever we want!

1. Cox cable...phone, internet, very basic cable only.
2. Yes
3. Love our Netflix. We also get the disks which delivers newer movies.
4. Cox is 130.00 and Netflix is 25.00
5. No, keeping it. We could not watch tv without it.
6. No Disney. No little kids. Do not care about Disney stuff...park, cable, whatever. Not our thing. We only go to real places...

1. What streaming services do you have? I have Netflix and Amazon Prime. I also have a FireTV and an Apple TV, so I can watch shows from ABC, NBC, PBS, Pluto TV, etc.

2. Do you still have cable? No

3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most? I go in spurts. I'm tending to watch more from Amazon Prime, but I do like how with Netflix, everything is included in my subscription, where as with Amazon Prime, some things show up free, and then after 30 days or so, you have to pay.

4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)? I don't have cable, so that's out. My Amazon Prime is free, as I got it with Go365. All I pay for is Netflix. I can't remember how much that costs.

5. If you have cable are you considering getting rid of it? Why do you keep it? Don't have cable.

6. Do you have Disney + ? Do you or your kids watch anything specific on Disney +? No Disney+, but I would love to see the Lizzie McGuire reboot! Not sure if it came out yet, though.

We have Prime, but not really for the viewing. Once in a while we use prime video. We do use YouTube TV mostly for prime time and news. I could live without it, but DH can't. We have Netfilx and use it the most.

We don't have cable, and internet is through our phone service. We probably pay $60 for tv services and another $100 for phone and internet. Still less than the $120 for satellite that we used to pay (in 2 houses)

No young kids, no Disney.

I would drop Youtube tv, but dh needs the news and can't work with any of my other news "fixes."

1. What streaming services do you have?
Netflix, Hulu, Prime, CBS All Access, Disney+

2. Do you still have cable?
No. I’d had cable for my entire life until last year. We just never watched it. We do have our internet through the local cable company.

3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most?
We watch more CBS and Netflix, probably. We only watch one show at a time, so we tend to stick with one service for awhile.

4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)?
Hmmm . . . $35? Prime is part of our Amazon subscription, so I don’t even know how to break that down.

5. If you have cable are you considering getting rid of it? Why do you keep it?
N/A

6. Do you have Disney + ? Do you or your kids watch anything specific on Disney +?
We don’t have kids at home, but my DH is a huge Star Wars fan.

1. What streaming services do you have?
Netflix, Prime, Disney+

2. Do you still have cable?
No

3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most?
It varies. We watch a series at a time, so whatever series we're watching is the one we're using.

4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)?
I think it's a couple hundred a year altogether?

5. If you have cable are you considering getting rid of it? Why do you keep it?

6. Do you have Disney + ? Do you or your kids watch anything specific on Disney +?
So far the Mandalorian, Pixar shorts, Togo, a few Disney/Pixar movies, a couple of documentaries, and the Jeff Goldblum show.

1. What streaming services do you have? Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Starz, and I "steal" HBO from my dad

2. Do you still have cable? No, haven't had it for years

3. If you have multiple services, which do you like the best/use the most? Probably Netflix and Hulu. I just have Starz to watch Outlander.

4. How much do you spend monthly on TV entertainment (streaming and cable)? $40? something like that

6. Do you have Disney + ? Do you or your kids watch anything specific on Disney +? No, but might do a free trial during shelter in place if there is one - I'm sure my teens would watch something
