DS and I love plums, but I don't know how we are going to eat the FOUR POUNDS of plums DH brought home

Any recipe ideas? All we do is wash them and eat them!

What a husband! Four pounds of plums would be gone in no time in my 2 person household.
I would eat them out of hand, make plum crisp or cobbler, put them in a smoothie, and if you're ambitious enough, make a jam.

I received a bunch last year and made plum cobbler (more than once, ha). Yum! I wish I knew how to make plum jam, but I don't.

Lucky you!!

Cut them in half, dip the cut sides in oil and then sugar (white, brown, doesn't matter), grill for a minute or two on the barbecue--ambrosia!!

Plum jam! mmmmm
