I've been so grown up today! So far my bada$$ adulting self:
-slept til noon because I can (and because I went to bed at 3 am)
-lined up 4 appointments
-paid 3 bills online
-sent 2 work emails that couldn't wait
-emptied the dishwasher and filled it back up
-ran a pretty full carload of crap to Goodwill

What makes YOU a winner today? Toot that horn! Get on with your bad self!

*I walked even though it was hot and I should get enough steps in today.

*I took a hit "for the team" and sent my approximately 40 questions to my principal regarding the reopening of school. I feel like I am in a position to not offend since I have nothing to lose and I can protect the young'uns.

*Made an appointment I've been putting off.

*Knocked a few more things off of my summer to-do list.

Yay me!

*Got all of the school supply shopping done for my kids, only to come home to an email that I have a staff meeting tomorrow about a change in the school calendar (Probably delayed start since that is what our county public schools are getting ready to do.)--At least that task is already done.

*Read MalloryJames’ and sportsmom’s suggestion of internet as utility, did some research, called expert DD for her opinion, and now I’m convinced that’s the way to go as long as the government is only an oversight agency.

*Asked DD’s opinion about a storage issue and she actually needs the hugely puffy comforter and matching pillows that are taking up a ton of space under the guest bed. (I think I will eventually need that space for backup outdoor furniture cushions, if the “real” cushions ever arrive.)

*Told DD the latest projected date for the cushions to arrive is September. She confessed she thought it was a terrible and wasteful idea when I got the cheap backup cushions. Remember, I ordered in April, furniture came in May, still waiting on custom cushions. DD said she now thinks it was brilliant of me to get the Amazon set.

*Got comforter & pillows all bagged up because DD is coming tomorrow to bring my sea glass Christmas tree that she lovingly made for me. I’m so excited. First for hugs, then for tree.

i'm a winner!

--I went for my run--even though I haven't had a day off for 5 days

--I successfully set up my phone in my new classroom--even though I would have preferred to continue unpacking the last 60 boxes...

I did my mammogram today. Ouch! But YAY, itís over!!

I donated blood today. It was quick and easy. I was told in 24/48 hours I will know if I have the antibodies.

Treated myself to a Popeyes chicken sandwich. Yum! (This is only the second one I had. The first one I split with DH was last year.)

I transferred all my data to my new iphone SE and got it working. Then I transferred all DH's data to my old phone and got that one working for him. (His was beat up and having trouble.)

I baked chocolate chip cookies - nummmmm

I took a nap.

I called an internet company to try to get better internet. Rural mountains make it difficult.

I rode my bike 10 miles this morning and swam laps for 20 minutes before going to work (a summer day camp)!

I contacted GracoBaby.Com and let them know about a problem. They are sending a brand new car seat in three days. I won the lottery!

I had papers that included bank statements with all the cleared checks sent back to me! Forgot that they used to do that.

* We made eggs, bacon, and fruit for brunch when we got back from our hike
* Went kayaking on the lake for about 90 min
