Crossbody Purse

I am looking for a new purse and decided I want a crossbody. I have been leaving my purse in the car since this virus started. I am scared to take it in and bring something back into my house. I was thinking a crossbody should be fairly safe in the grocery store. Anyone have one they would like to suggest. I usually carry a shoulder or tote purse and put it in my grocery cart. TIA.

I've been carrying a cross body for the exact same reasons. I bought this one when it was on sale. I love it!

I wanted something small too to bring into any stores I venture into. I wanted something I could easily wipe down as well. I ended up getting this:

Yep, I normally love hobo-style bags, but since COVID, I'm not wearing makeup anymore and to keep things simple to carry since I'm only going to the grocery store, out for walks, and drives, I've recently gotten these small crossbody and wallet-on-a-strap style bags and love them:

Vera Bradley RFID All in One Crossbody (in Foxwood) - Macy's had it for $24
https://www.verabradley.com/us/produ...22887-22887N56

Sakroots Large Smartphone Crossbody (in Rainbow Spirit Desert)
https://www.thesak.com/products/larg...31537230053434

Aimee Kestenberg Bali Crossbody in Lapis Blue
https://www.aimeekestenberg.com/coll...ody-lapis-blue

Also ordered these a few days ago. I've been looking for a silver purse for a long time. I usually get real leather bags, but still got them:

Urban Originals Lost In Love Crossbody

Urban Originals Women's Gypsy Sport Crossbody in Silver

Charlotte! That D&B bag is gorgeous! I covet the lemon yellow. Which color did you get?

I ended up getting the navy because I wanted something neutral. I love the bright colors too. If they go on sale again, I may consider another one.

I love Kavu crossbody bags. I love the fun prints, they hold up really well, and I toss mine in the wash.

There are others on their site too.

Do you sew or know someone who does? I love the bag from this pattern so much, I've made 4 for myself and 1 for a friend. The one pictured in this post is NOT one of mine but from Lazy Girl Designs: Lexi Carryall. HERE's the link to my most recent one. It's about 10"hx 8"w x 2"d.

My favourite bags come from Lug. www.luglife.com. They are super organized and light weight, and they come in tons of styles and fun prints, as well as solids. There are lots of crossbody options in various sizes.

I LOVE this bag. It holds everything I need and it's flat to my body.

I love crossbody bags but do want to caution those who leave their purses in the car. It can be a theft and vandalism to your car magnet. I hid a large purse and grabbed my tiny crossbody to visit a friend in a restaurant. Wrong move and cost me five hundred dollars to replace my car window. I had to eat that and the loss of a beloved pink purse.

Thank you so much everyone. Anna i agree with you about leaving my purse in the car. I make sure it is hidden from sight. My DH is always reminds me not to leave anything in sight in the car whenever we go somewhere.

I leave my purse in my trunk.

I have given crossbody purses to nieces and friends from SportSacs.

I have three cross-body bags.

This VERA BRADLEY one that I love. I have it in black and hot pink. It is my go-to vacation purse.

This COACH is really nice. Itís a bit heavier, so I donít carry it as often. Itís perfect for stores, though.

I have been carrying crossbody bags for 25 years since my twins were little and I needed two hands to hold both of theirs haha.

Now I'm actually down to just a wallet case for my cell phone, credit cards and a few dollars that I stick in my pocket.

I typically get them at T.J.Maxx or Kohl's when they are on sale. I rarely spend more than $25 on one. I'm a cheap shopper

I love the Little Hipster bags like Ima posted from Vera Bradley! I am terrible about just dumping down in my purse and it disappearing. I love the front wallet like section of this purse since it helps keep my cards and cash organized!
