Hello, Everybody!
I just said goodbye to my 5th graders on May 23rd, and I'm starting summer school with 3rd graders on May 29th!!!! After looping 4th/5th for 12 years, moving to 3rd is going to be exciting and challenging!

Instead of asking for ideas, I decided to search this Third Grade board for getting acquainted activities that have already been posted. I found some really great advice and ideas from way back in 2010!

Now, if anyone has some additional advice/ideas to share, I'd love to hear more. I'm thinking I'm going to need all the help I can get!

I have done this activity for the last six years. I also do this activity towards the end of the year when they start getting snippy with each other. It is SUCH a great refresher!
