Just saw text from DD2 now 40 asking if I have her immunization record? Gee I don't think so. Didn't you take it with into adulthood? It is midnight in Germany. She has been in that country 12 years and on their health system. Strange she'd need it now.

I recently needed them to be able to volunteer at a Childrenís Hospital. They were available through the network (insurance) that I have been associated with for years.
And it will be your dd that has to ask for them - not you- patient confidentiality. This will be a pain with her in Germany, Iíll bet.

When your children age out from their pediatrician, get a copy of all their immunization records. You would be surprised what they will need it for: college, certain jobs, etc. Doctor offices purge their records every few years and they are gone. I went through this with my oldest. Luckily, we were able to get most of it from his school records, otherwise he would have had to repeat some immunizations.
