I hate it when people are late. It means they do not respect your time.

I also despise lateness. Itís not hard to be on time. 18 years of teaching and I was late only once due to a car accident.

I also donít like nail biters. It grosses me out to see people with their fingers in their mouths. Good luck to those people with CV going around.

One of my pet peeves was that there was always one teammate who only thought of herself. I was fortunate enough to not have that situation my last year teaching and it was glorious!

My current pet peeve is auto-correct. Once again I had to correct a perfectly correct word. Auto-correct changed "pet peeve" twice:

1st...leg peeve,
2nd...let peeve!

I agree with KT- my #1 is work ethic. I get very frustrated by others not doing their job... and 9 times out of 10 it then falls in my lap.

For kids, itís making unnecessary noises- humming, clicking their tongue, tapping their pencil, tapping the table leg.

I detest whining and wallowing. I appreciate a brief informative complaint followed by an action plan.

Other pet peeves: gum chewing, blocking sidewalks & aisles, inefficiency.

My pet peeve is meanness and unkindness. There is no point in ruining someone's day.

People who sit in the left hand lane. It's a passing lane people. Pass and then move over.

I'm also really getting tired of disrespect. It's not that hard to be, minimally, polite.

Drivers who expect me to read their minds. The turn signal is standard equipment in all vehicles.

My current pet peeve is mass hysteria.

My pet peeve is people assuming someone else will do the work for them (leaving dishes in the sink that could go in the dishwasher, overfilling garbage cans at parks, leaving a grocery item in the magazine rack, not sending snack for your kid and letting the teacher provide it, etc.).

Do I have to limit to just one?
Pet peeves:
-whining and complaining....just get over yourself and come up with an action plan to solve your problems!
-laziness
-disrespect; no regard for others
-leaders who have never done my job who tell me what/how to teach

My biggest pet peeve are people who think and behave in a manner that shows they believe material things make the person somehow superior to others.

People who don't pick up after their dog. So lazy and irresponsible! While out walking my dog, I sometimes pick up someone else's mess just because I don't want all dog owners to be blamed.

I should add that my biggest pet peeve of all time is people who smoke! I can't even stand the smell. So disgusting!! And I absolutely hate to see young people smoke. They are so foolish.

Ooh...the dog poop on my lawn stinks! I also hate smoking. We landed at airport today and a guy was smoking next to a lady with an oxygen tank...yikes

Right now my pet peeve are the members of media who seem giddy over the U.S. having to deal with CV.

Someone chomping gum or chewing loudly/smacking their food as they eat makes me want to slap them! Frankly, I have more pet: peeves the older I get.

Ps...SongofJoy...you are 100% correct. They are to blame for the mass hysteria and hording going on!
