1000 Books You May Have Actually Read

1,000 books were chosen based on the number of ratings each book has on Goodreads
Click on the books you read, and find out how you measure against others who have taken the quiz.

https://www.listchallenges.com/1000-...-actually-read

My result:
115 of 1,000 ∑ 12%
You did better than 56% of users on this list
Your rank: #375,345 of 847,282 users on this list
You didn't beat the avg. score of 131

There were a few that have been made into movies. Most of which I didn’t click as I saw the movie, but didn’t read the book.

There were several where I had to stop and think if I read the book especially if the cover was different.

Fun and interesting 1,000 books! I was getting a little dizzy scrolling but wanted to get through. Too bad the categories weren't easier to navigate.

There were some I couldn't remember if I actually read the book and saw the movie?? It helped that many were read as a mom and a 4th grade teacher.

I credit being a pre-K teacher, being an elementary teacher, taking so. many. lit classes in college and, of course, a Stephen King addiction back in the day.

Yes, being a constant reader (Stephen King) did really up my score, too!

I did better than I thought. I used to read constantly but can't stay awake to read anymore.

I've probably read more than that but if I wasn't sure if I read it I didn't mark it. For example, i read lots of Picoult's books but the only title I was sure of was My Sister's Keeper.

Lots of books that I read 30+ years ago! And many that are on my TBR list. Some authors that had a lot of books on the list are authors that I don't care for.

It was interesting to see what books were on the list.

That was fun! Interesting how Nicholas Sparks has so many of his books on the list. Thank goodness for being an English Major and a primary grade teacher!!!

I scored 238. Could be a few more or a few less. Some I think Iíve forgotten, and some Iím not sure I read the book or only saw the movie!!

Being an elementary teacher and a kindergarten teacher certainly padded the numbers too.

What a fun trip down memory lane.
Oh how I remember reading Are You There God? Itís Me, Margaret. Only one copy in the school library. The waiting for it to be your turn.

There might have been more because I went through the list fairly quickly and there were books that I wasn't completely sure I'd read so I didn't click on them.

That was fun (and long!)

I also didn't mark any that I only saw as movies (I didn't even know some of those were based on books). It did help that a few authors I like were on quite a bit- if I like an author, I read everything by that author.

There were also several books that I may have read, but if I wasn't sure I didn't check them off. So my score may be a little higher (or not)

I only had 58 books read and I read a lot. There are some I thought I may have read that I didnít remember so I didnít check them off.

Many of the books I have read were not on that list so I donít think it is a measure of me not reading enough.

Maybe I donít read the type of books that I should read.

People should read what they want. Also, several books were children’s books that I read aloud to my primary grade students (gen ed teacher). As a music teacher you wouldn’t do that.

I used to read Stephen King, but of all his books on the list I'd only read a handful. IT freaked me out and I didn't read much of his stuff after that.

There were several books that looked familiar, so I kept swiping between the quiz and good reads. I probably missed a few. Iíve always been a big reader, but only started tracking around 2012.
