Ideas Needed

We moved into our neighborhood during the pandemic. One neighborhood couple has been wonderful. They brought us a welcome to the neighborhood gift. They have kept an eye on our house because we travel a lot. He helped me when I locked my keys in my car, and my husband was out of town. I have sent them lots of thank yous and given them some flowers each time we have been gone a long time. Because of the pandemic, we really haven't "visited" with them. The wife came over with a jar of friendship soup for me yesterday. I know they love to play Scrabble so when she stopped by I asked her if she wanted to play Scrabble sometime. She was very excited that I wanted to play. I am going over next week. I would like to bring something small over. I don't really cook or bake much, and I don't know them well enough to buy them a gift card.

I was thinking of making some snack mix and putting it in nice decorative container. I was wondering if anyone had any better suggestions. Thanks so much!

make a cheese log and add a box of crackers

make or buy fresh pico and add a bag of restaurant style tortilla chips

I am sure that what ever you give them will be appreciated.

Snack mix in a nice container is perfect. It is small enough to not make her feel obligated to return your gesture in the future and it fits the situation, you can enjoy the snacks while playing the game. Sounds like fun!

Snack mix is good. A plate of baked cookies or brownies. A bouquet of flowers.
