Clip to ScrapBook #1

I teach in Texas, I am from Michigan. I know that an iep contains goals and objectives.
On my campus many of the other teachers say, Johnny has 10 iep's, when they are referring to objectives. In Michigan we just say, Johnny has so and so goals and objectives. It just drives me a little crazy to here Johnny has 10 iep's when Johnny actually has 2 goals and 8 objectives for example. Johnny has 1 iep. Does this make sense or am I crazy?

Well, so the saying goes, every thing's bigger in Texas. I guess an IEP becomes ten IEPs there.
