I was doing read aloud at the end of class and I asked a kid to move. He looked at me and said, “no thank you.”

I’m sorry, I wasn’t asking Your Royal Highness.

Are you effing kidding me!?!!

Yeah, well I’m not pulling out the big guns because I don’t work here and I want a job.

I did pull him aside at dismissal and he lost all his bravado. It was kind of funny. He took all the fun out of my Love and Logic.

What grade? Sounds like the kindergarten student that told me “I don’t have to listen to you, you’re not my teacher.”

Well, at least he said "Thank you"... Hopefully, he will think twice next time. Uggh!

My dd has been vigilant in teaching 2 year old grandson to have good manners.

She was firmly scolding him about something and he calmly responded “no thank you, mommy.” I had to leave the room laughing while she explained why that wasn’t going to work.

I think it’s because she taught him to say “no thank you Diesel” when the dog was annoying him, instead of shoving the dog.

I worry about who’s going to take care of the next generation as the age.
