Classroom, Take 2

Here are the rest of the pictures from my classroom. This is my third year with the striped fabric. Think I will need to change next year. It's not as bright this year. I may put fabric around my computer work station. There is lots of junk in there!

If you've got any ideas of how to make the room flow better, let me know. It's so crowded with 35 desks.

I like the look of the room and how you positioned your desks. I want to use your behavior guides, they are great. Well good luck on your first day back.

LOVE the backgrounds on your bulletin boards. Are they fabric? Considering how many students you need to plan for, I think you've done a wonderful job!

The small bulletin boards are all fabric. I've had the same fabric since 1998. I lint roll the dust off of it, but don't even take it down. I just change border.

It's so nice to see a middle school teacher set the room up in such an inviting way. Some of the middle school teachers I work with don't really care to make the rooms shine like yours.

Your room looks great. I, agree with pp, so nice that you take the time to set up and make your ms classroom so inviting. When I taught ms, I was one of only 2 teachers on our hall who did that.

It looks fabulous! I love how you discriminate between what your students do and do not have access to for books. I also like your office pick up bucket. Thanks for the ideas.

Your room looks so good. I think you did the impossible with 35 desks. It looks good to me. I really like that noise-level chart. I've never seen one.

Your room looks great! It seems to be shaped similar to mine. Your kiddos are lucky middle schoolers!

Kentucky isn't all that far from Virginia.....come on over and help me finish my room! Lunch is on me!

Your classroom is bright, organized and very clean. I love the black polka-dot bulletin board border. It's what I use too. I have to say that there is no way I could successfully have a classroom room with your desk arrangement. I've tried it with a couple of classes that I've had but they were so distracted by the students on the opposite side of them and proceeded to make faces, etc. Then again, perhaps you aren't dealing with 3rd or 4th graders.

Lovely! I really appreciate the uncluttered look. Making the curtains for your shelves blend into the background is great. The curtains in my room were left by the former teacher and they stand out. If we weren't moving the school, I'd get new curtains! I hadn't realized that my curtains helped it look cluttered.
