Hi,
I'm getting a new Dell laptop with windows 8 and I heard that my old Epson Stylux printer will not be compatiable. It's time for a new one anyway. Anyone know of a good "teacher" printer. I mostly use the printer for school stuff. Thanks!

I bought an hp printer at Best Buy (wireless and NICE). So I didn't set it up right away and lost one of the little ink cartridges that came with. You know the ones that last one picture. WELL... apparently, the printer cannot be set up without those original cartridges. AND HP and Best Buy told me they have no idea how to get any set up cartridges. HP was in India and I couldn't understand them. So...Don't lose the original set up cartridges.

I have a simple Canon Pixma. I bought it because it was cheaper and the ink is cheaper than when we had a Lexmark. I can also switch between regular ink and XL ink, and BJ's Wholesale sells the ink. Works with Windows 8.

I have two wireless printers, an Epson and an hp. They both work well and use about the same amount of ink. I would suggest a wireless printer that is on sale. I am also looking into a laser printer. They are more expensive than ink jet, but you are able to print more. Many people in work have them and like them.

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600. Good on ink and love it.
