I'm curious about apple watches. Do I want one? Which Apple Watch would you recommend and why?

I would like to get a new one.
My current one is a 2. The newest one would need an upgrade on the phone too. That is a bit steep while I sit at home much of the time.

I have had mine for 2.5 years and I wear it into the pool about 5 times a week. It is starting to get wonky and sometimes craps out during my swimming workout. It has been perfect until lately.

Edited- 3.5 years

Iíve still got a first generation and itís going strong. I donít think you can even buy it anymore though. Unless you have something specific you need the latest tech for, Iíd get a 3rd generation. I use mine mostly to record fitness and alert me to texts/calls when Iím not near my phone or itís on silent.
