Good morning fellow teachers of proteacher.net!

Yesterday I checked our grading system to see if our classes were assigned yet. Lo and behold, they were! I am certified English K - 12 and SpEd K - 12.

This year I'll be teaching English I CP, English I Honors, and English II Honors in addition to an ESL class.

I have never taught ESL in my life and I don't understand how I was assigned this class because last year the Spanish teacher taught it.

Could you give me practical advice as for how to do this? As of now I have three students in the class, all of whom are Chinese. Two of them were in my English I CP class and I believe the third is an incoming freshman.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
