You put eggs in sweet potato casserole. I donít
You put cream cheese in mashed potatoes.I donít
You bake a pumpkin pie for 1 hour in a CONVECTION oven. Really? No wonder this pie is still like soup

I donít make sweet potato casserole or pumpkin pie, but I always put cream cheese in mashed potatoes. Half a pound each of cream cheese and sour cream per 5 lbs of potatoes.

The pumpkin thing was written about by Snopes. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/ca...ually-pumpkin/

I didnít know about the pumpkin rumor. But, and this may make me sound uncultivated , Iíve always felt that most squashes taste the same for the most part and Iíve made zucchini bread and such. It wouldnít matter much to me if it were true!🤣

I didn't know you were supposed to prebake the pie shell, give the pie crust an egg wash and bake again for 5 minutes before putting in the pumpkin filling and then finish baking. No more soggy bottom crust.
Then again, I don't eat pumpkin pie, so how would I know?
