As a society we sure have had many challenges over the last few years. Many of us have experienced loss. Many of us struggle. Even with the problems we all handle and sometimes cannot solve we are usually still grateful in many ways. I enjoy thinking about what, exactly, i am grateful for.

26 year old twins both seem happy and healthy.

Mom just got to travel to AZ this week( snowbird) this year. Couldn't go last year due to covid. Lost her husband of 57 years ( my dad) unexpectedly Aug 2020. Being with friends this winter will be GREAT for her!!

I'm retiring early next June. SOO thankful I can be done with this constant stress that our jobs have become!

I am most grateful to my son who looks after his old mom all the time, making me feel comfortable and loved. He makes dinner almost every day now, and totes my laundry down into the basement now that it's cold and rainy, soon to be snowy. I can't get down the stairs safely so he has taken over the task.

Timeforbed your son sounds wonderful. I am also thankful for a comfortable retirement and for my warm and cosy home as the long days of winter approach.

WalkDontRun you are spot on! Glad to have a good place to live with good health and happy family. We may not be together, but we still care about our kids.

I am thankful for my kids and my dh. Son and dh climbed up to a very high ceiling to replace a ceiling fan. DD calls and texts to keep me up to date with their adventures in their new town along the coast.

I have a home, heat, food, a working car. I have a husband and son who I love. Nature. Walks. Travel. Books. Lots of books. I am grateful for learning from mistakes and hopeful I can move forward from them.

I am grateful and feel blessed for many things in my life. At the top of my list is my wonderful DH of 42 years, our family and good friends, good health, a comfortable home, and ample food on our table.

I feel grateful for my family and good friends. Beyond that, I’m grateful for my comfortable home, my teacher pension, and my darling new puppy. There are many other things that I’m thankful for like the recently planted, thriving trees in my redesigned backyard. I love their beauty!

I’m grateful to my former principal who hired me to teach adults part time during the last three years. That gave me the money to be able to have my yard professionally landscaped, and my adult students were wonderful. I’m also grateful that I don’t have to go back to work because now at 70 I want to happily re-retire.

I am grateful to be retired. I am grateful to still have both my parents and that my mom's alzheimers is in the early stages. I am grateful for my family especially my sister & sister-in-law. My friends, home, dogs, okay health and good neighbors.

I truly am grateful for each day I am able to wake-up and get out of bed.
