Today is National Dog Day. The Twin Terrors have been celebrating in style. Well, theyve been sleeping, but you know...

So, in honor of this momentous holiday lets see pictures of your dogs.

Bub-Bichon Frise

This is Angel Bub. Not sure how old he was although I do know he was over 10. I got him late in his life when he became hard of hearing and he was not too visual. He was a couch potato.

Both Bub & Kriss were rescued dogs and Ginger was given to me when her other mommy couldn't take care [working long hours]. My dogs are my children and I love them all.

Happy National Dog Day.

My "puppy" will turn 10 this fall! She is so full of cuddles and play, and LOVE.

We did a family photo shoot last spring and this is a favorite pic of mine from the shoot.

Yes, biologically they're cats. But they were raised by their older dog sister and know how to dog EXTREMELY well.

They come when I call their name, fetch toys, and ask for belly rubs multiple times each day. They follow DH and I all over the yard, right by our side, like a faithful canine friend would.

Shawn is the fluffy beige ball of poof, and Gus is the sleek yet chubby black wonder.

As I was getting the green beans ready for dinner tonight, I thought of Nicky, our beautiful black dog who died in 2012. She liked to be near me when I was in the kitchen and green beans were one of her favourite things. I would give her a bean and she would take it ever so gently from my hand, back up sedately, crunch it up quickly and then come back for another one. We loved her and she loved us back.

No dog but...

I have decided that my next car will be a Subaru. Why? Because their commercials feature the most adorable dogs in very creative situations. Starting with Butch and the young couple, currently dogs and a food truck, then there's the one with 2 dogs, inside, and a single cat, outside. Great commercials!

Here are my 2 very spoiled pups. The one on the floor is in the doghouse right now. He decided to celebrate dog day by eating a wall. Hes 8 and never done anything like that before. We call him the forever puppy.

Coco loves to drop her toy into the pool and try to retrieve it without falling in!
