Lumpectomy results

I had my lumpectomy on December 30. So I spent my NYE doing legal drugs. It is healing very nicely. I have been able to walk on the treadmill and do lower body exercises. Upper body can probably resume in a week. I was suppose to get the pathology results for the lymph node in 3-5 days but apparently the lab was “swamped” what with the holiday. My surgeon was very apologetic and called me today to let me know he discussed the preliminary results with the pathologist and everything looks fine, but he can’t refer me to the oncologist until he gets the final results. I was trying to keep only positive thoughts about how this would turn out, but hearing that news was a big load off my mind.
