I went to McDonald's for lunch because I was in a rush. I saw an advertisement for their new Bacon Smokehouse Burger.. OMG it was sooo yummy.

I highly recommend you try it. Seriously, it was the best burger I have had in years. The bun was yummy, meat was nice, onions sooo tasty and crunchy, and the cheese.

I got it the way it was recommended, everything on it.

The bacon onion sauce is yummy, so sweet and good. They have it as a crispy chicken sandwich as well. I will be going back and getting another one of these.

I wish I could attach a picture but click the link below and it will show ya.. there is also a nice picture of the ingredients.

No one I know goes to McDonald's for healthy/diet friendly food. I loved the burger and would say it was worth the 840 calories.

I calculated what it would be on Weight Watchers Smart Points - 28.. so it's definitely do able.. if you wanna use your weeklies and splurge.

840 Calories

45 grams Total Fat (69% DV)

62 grams Total Carbs (21% DV)

46 grams Protein

McDonaldís is poison . Havenít eaten there in years, but the last couple times I did, I got sick. I now stay far away from all fast food places.

Used to take my kids there MANY years ago for an occasional Happy Meal, but they are not the same as they used to be.

Glad you enjoyed it! I hadn't eaten there in a long time, and then was pleasantly surprised when I did. I do think they made some good changes! Everyone needs a treat every now and then.

Now I'm craving hot, salty french fries and an ice cold Coke!

Good thing I'm in my being lazy watching TV clothes and am not going to leave the house. However, I could just do drive through.....

I had a Fresh Quarter Pounder with extra pickles yesterday.
It was just as delicious as they promised.
They renovated the place and it's such a warm, cozy atmosphere.
They also bring your order to the table.
Very nice.

I told DH I thought he’d like that burger. I’ve never had a McDonald’s burger of any kind. I’ve eaten very few burgers anywhere. I didn’t eat one until I was 43, I think.

Our McDonald’s is a mess. The manager tries to be mom to the workers, but she’s not doing a very good job. It also shares a parking lot with a grocery store that is known for major drug activity. We do go much for that reason.

I do love their fish sandwiches, and they are about the only fries I like.

When DH was ill, he remembered MacDonalds so I took him there a few times. I loved the Southwest grilled chicken salad. I think it was 400 calories and I thought it was delicious.

For people who like that sort of food, it is ok to treat yourself every now and then.

I personally hate hamburgers and steak. When I was a child and the first McDonaldís opened up in our town, my classmates were begging their parents to take them there. I begged my parents not to take me.

Any calories I may waste to treat myself usually go to a desert or maybe pasta or pizza in a rare case. Those who like this, enjoy.

I had my granddaughters with me, and they wanted happy meals. I got THE SANDWICH, and I thought it was pretty good. I probably won't get it again, just because of the calories and fat, but at least I can say I tried it. I liked most of it, but I didn't really like the sauce.

My motto: you do you. If you enjoyed it that’s all that matters! I don’t do McDonalds much but do love Chik-Fil-A and will even do Taco Bell sometimes

I do love McDonalds fries though!

And after reading this in the news... wouldn’t touch their salads

I will on occasion get McDonalds breakfast and def enjoy it, tons of calories and all
