So I'm one of the people who bought the paint by sticker cats book the other day. I had never heard of those before. I love jigsaw puzzles, so this seemed like a nice transition and quicker and easier :-) About halfway through I figured out I should use tweezers for the little pieces haha. Here's my first attempt. Just the cat and yarn ball is stickers.

Here is a cat not made out of stickers
It is amazing how Obie ( 7) has suddenly turned into a lap cat since Spotty passed a few weeks ago. She hadn't sat in my lap since I adopted her in May. Now she does daily

I have been home on bed rest all week due to a Migraine with an accompanying tension headache and muscle spasms.

Someone is happy I am home, but he sure does take up a lot of couch space!

This is a baby quilt that has consumed my time over the past few weeks. It was completed just in time for the shower last weekend. Now off to complete big people quilts for Christmas.

I also tried one of the paint-by-stickers pages. I did a kinda ugly one first to learn and I got DD the travel poster book because she travels—she’s prone to depression/anxiety, so I thought it might be a good option and she loved it. It’s not really my thing (I’d rather read), but I think the ones I got for kids’ Christmas presents will be great. I also think they’d be fabulous for bored people in the hospital or homebound friends. Thanks, Haley.

Those paint by sticker pictures are pretty cool, twinmom95 and amiga.

Love your quilt, liberty teach.

That's the most unique beach water picture I've seen! Very interesting the way those basic colors showed up in your photo!
Sort of looks like some scene that they would show the beginning of a mystery movie!!
Love all the cuddly pictures of everybody's pets also! You can tell that they are all very much loved and part of your families !!

Liberty teach, you are definitely talented !

I love to see all the photos!

DH and I were in Quebec City last week where I took a photo of the iconic Château Frontenac. QC reminds me of Europe with its narrow and hilly streets. It was cold, but apparently a great time to go as there were very few tourists. QC is one of those popular cities that suffer from "overtourism."

Killing time before my son's hockey game last week. By the rink is this little outdoor space with some beautiful flowers.

I've got a special one for Remembrance Day.
My mom found this postcard at my grandmother's house this summer. It's from my grandfather, who was serving in WWII, to his oldest son (my dad's half brother) wishing him a Merry Christmas in 1943.

I love all the photos, especially the postcard!

Man and I went to the Bill Reid gallery in Vancouver. There are some stunning pieces in there like this one called The Raven and the First Men.

...made these tiles for a little boy I know who has a brain tumor. He has recently gone blind because of the tumor. He knows his letters and the tiles have 3-d letters, a word and a picture. I think he’ll be able to use them with his younger siblings.

I will ask for a couple of volunteers to do the rest of the alphabet for him. I’m so proud of how nicely these turned out. I have two boys with broken arms and casts on their writing arms, theirs look great, too.

We had our first snowfall this week - yuck! Way too early for me! My little white dog didn’t seem to mind it though. Can you spot her in the picture?

We’ve had him for about a year and a half now. And when we adopted him the lady at the adoption place said That little kitten has got a lot of personality, He can be a little crazy sometimes. Yes. Yes he can. But we sure do love him.
