PoohBear, I know it’s not the same province, but I think it’s the same region....your beautiful pic makes me think of one of my all-time favorite books, The Shipping News.
techgrad, the twins are darling—and so big!
I just stepped out on the balcony to take a pic because I love blue.
I just returned from a road trip to NE and Quebec. There was more colorful foliage around the Boston/Salem area and southern Maine than farther north, where many of the trees were already bare.
Stephen King's house in Bangor, Maine. We visited DH's high school friend who lives across the street. His granddaughter decided to jump into the picture.
ETA: King now only lives about a month out of the year in this house. He also bought the house next door, and next year the two houses will become a writers' retreat and a depository for his archives.
DD24 ( navy blue dress) flew home a couple weekends ago to go to her friend's wedding. These five girls all met in Middle School in 6th grade and have been close friends ever since. The bride is the first to get married in the group. They are scattered all over the country now, but I love that they still can get together once or twice a year :-)
One funny thing to me is that DD is only 5 foot 4. But in this picture she looks tall due to her heels and standing next to her shorter friends :-)
I used my Pinterest-stalking abilities and Cricut abilities to make front license plates for me and for DH. I’m southern, so I monogram everything. DH needed something to replace my hot pink initials on his vehicle since it was mine. He loves Star Wars, and he’d commented on a similar sign at a shop in Gatlinburg when we were on vacation.
