For the weekend, that is.

I have not had any alone time for MONTHS and am so excited! I know I'll have some adulting to do, but not much.

What would you do with a weekend to yourself?

He was going to leave on Sunday and come back on Friday of next week. He was going to officiate a wedding in Texas. He got a call yesterday that the wedding was postponed, so he wonít be gone after all.

would you do any adulting? That seems like a waste of a possibly perfect weekend!

Don't do what I would do. Do everything you just feel like doing! Have a great day.

Sleep in
Lots of nothing
Window shopping
Not getting off the couch
Dinner with friends

Not going to lie... this happens every other weekend when I donít have kids. Divorce has this pro, but itís the only one.

I was heartbroken for you. So glad it's just for a weekend!

My DH went away last weekend, and it was the perfect amount of time to miss him.

Enjoy yourself!!

Oh, good one. Had me going.

My DH is going to Nashville next Thursday for 5 days. I plan to

Sleep all night in my bed. (No snoring means I donít have to move)
Never turn TV on unless itís for Poldark or Outlander
Sage the house if I feel like it

And just enjoy the quiet of no TV....

I would clean the house

from top to bottom. Then I'd clean out the garage. Wash her car and detail the inside. Then I'd buy her lots of drone parts. Maybe a new subwoofer with an obscenely high power rating.

So I'd go with that.

Bake cookies! You won't have to share!

Sleep in the middle of the bed.

Set the thermostat at the temperature you like. No compromising!

Squeeze the toothpaste from the middle of the tube if you want to.

Get take out from your favorite restaurant.

Watch your favorite movie with no interruptions.

Take a bubble bath.

Get a massage and then take a nap.

Have fun!

Oh my, I haven't had my house to myself in a looooong time! I would probably be very productive if everyone was gone for a few days. I would clean the house thoroughly, go through closets and cabinets and drawers, watch movies like Mamma Mia, Legally Blonde, and My Best Friend's Wedding, and read and nap for hours!

Hope you enjoy your weekend!

I had all kinds of plans for my Fall Break because dh was working out of town. I ended up working really hard to motivate myself to rent a couple of movies so I didn't just sit there in a catatonic state.

After 2 days I did motivate to leave the house and go for a hike. THen came back and watched more tv/movies.

It really was bliss.

He is leaving again the week before Thanksgiving. I leave the day after he comes back. We have the perfect married life! . Doesn't always work this way...
